This dispenser lever holder is the mounting bracket behind the refrigerator's dispenser paddle. It supports and aligns the lever and switch so water or ice dispenses reliably when the paddle is pressed.
Refrigerator was easy. Simply replaced the activator switch that was sticking. The range hood was a little more difficult. I had replaced the switch years ago but it still didn’t work. This condenser fan motor assembly is located near the compressor at the bottom or rear of the refrigerator and circulates air over the condenser coils to dissipate heat. It helps the refrigerator maintain proper cooling temperatures efficiently. Removed the old fan housing. Removed the fan from its housing and took the fan blade off. I then smelled the fan and it smelt of burnt insulation.
