Because the washer would stop mid cycle and would start again after some period of time, I presumed that there was something amiss in the drive train (i.e. motor, transmission, belt). Took the unit apart and discovered that two of the three brake pads were destroyed. Motor turned easily as did the transmission. Replaced the brake pads and reassembled. Now the washer doesn't stop as before, but will blow by all cycles never stopping to drain, spin, or rinse. It appears that they damaged... Read more

The video on the site on how to replace the belt on the washer was great! The key to get the right belt is to check the model AND the MFG number. Otherwise you may get the wrong belt like I did. I had a lot of problems removing the spin hub, I had to use an air impact wrench to un screw it even then it was very hard, it did not go easy with the hammer & pipe wrench as shown in the video. It was also very hard to remove the bottom spin bearing I had to cut the bearing retainer with a dremel tool so I could get my puller on it. The machine would not run a full cycle before it cut off and had the code "FE" and water was too high. The water inlet valve needed to be replaced since it was letting in too much water at time. The repair was easy. Unplug machine and turn off cold water. Remove cold water line and drain water into bucket. I replaced the worn parts. Removed the electric motor/pump assembly then took it to my motorcycle repair shop to clean/maintenance the motor, remove the old pump because it was stuck on the motor shaft. Once removed I blew out dust/debris from the motor w/compressed air. Sanded and filed the corrosion off the shaft, applied a "sealing grease" of sorts to the shaft to make potential future removal easier and reassembled. I replaced the friction ring, counter balance spring and all six of the tub rings. Though not a terribly difficult repair it was time consuming as the cabinet had to come completely off to access the rear of the tub. Once all of the springs were removed it was easy to slide the tub to the side, tip it and remove the old ring. Replacing it was just as easy.
