This is the chute component that directs water from the fill tube into the ice maker mold inside the freezer compartment. It ensures water flows accurately into the ice tray without spilling into the surrounding freezer area. Replace this part if water is leaking around the ice maker, ice forms outside the mold, or the chute is cracked or blocked with ice buildup.
