Removed the door at the hinge (3 screws). Removed the screws on the inside of the door holding the three sections together. Found one pin on the hinge broke OFF. Ordered parts. Arrived in 2 days. Re-assembled door and hung. Read more

This was actually one of the easiest fixes I’ve done. All that was required was to remove 3 screws to remove the broken part. I used a pair of pliers to remove the moisture sensors from the broken part to the new one. Read more

I have a Whirlpool Side-by-side Model ED22PWXBW01. A year ago, the ice cubes started freezing together in the rear of the ice bin for no apparent reason. Although the problem started off small, it gradually grew much worse, and finally I could see water dripping out of the ice mold and into the bin during the fill cycle. • Shakes and moves

With more difficulty and frustration than expected but it works fine now. Things learned: 1. Order only 3 replacement pins. One comes with the shocks that you can't be sure you see in the picture. 2. A circuit board in a plastic box mounted to the floor, left rear, must be removed by two screws to be able to get pliers onto the head of the pin more easily. This helps installation too. 3. By reading the forums I first thought it may be the thermostat. I bypassed the thermostat wiring and the dryer still turned off after a few second of running. The second check was for the door switch. I couldn't find an explanation of how to bypass, so I just ordered a new one to try. It worked. Read more

Watched the video a few times for door boot seal replacement. It was a lot of help! The spring is the hardest to replace and I did enlist the help of my wife. Everything went back on great. If you have to replace the front panel (with the buttons) be mindful that the buttons are spring loaded and will come out. I did not lose any and it went back together just fine.
