Over time a glass door assembly can become damaged due to excessive wear and tear. If the door is no longer shutting properly it might be time to replace it. Luckily replacing a glass door assembly is a fairly simple repair.To replace the door assembly, begin by unpluggin the oven. Once unplugged, open the damaged door assembly and locate the hinge brackets on the side of the door. Remove the screws from the mounting brackets. Once remove, gently lift the door off the hinges. Set to the side and place the new door directly on the hinges. Refasten the screws that secure the door, and close the new oven door. Make sure that it opens and shuts smoothly.This replacement part is sold individually and is compatible with Frigidaire, Electrolux, Gibson, Kelvinator, and Westinghouse brand ovens.
