I replaced the ball and socket connection for the drum. After doing so, I realized that the belt had been stretched and the tension pulley was not putting enough tension on the belt to turn the drum. After ordering a new belt, extra screw that was lost while disassembling the dryer, and some high temperature lubricant for the drum ball and socket the dryer now runs as well as it did when it was new. Right side drawer channel for electric ranges and ovens. Guides and supports the storage drawer for smooth opening and closing. Replace if bent, cracked, or worn.
I bought replacement hinges and installed them myself. The hardest part of the job was the first part: to remove the oven door you have to lock the old hinges with small brackets, and one side did not want to lock--I had to use a hammer. The door was heavier than it looks, but the only challenge after that was the fact that the edges of the door parts were sharp. I probably should have worn gloves when handling them. It was a little tricky. I watched a video it helped a little . Took the door apart, that was the easy part, BUT putting it back, could not remember sequence of parts. I would suggest take a picture of each piece as you remove them that would help. Read more
