Bought a used Frigidaire 36 inch stove. The broiler didn't come on but the burners lit and the stove worked so I made do for about 4 or 5 years with that. Before we replaced the board, my wife tried to replace just the element. We had one we had ordered several years ago when this same thing happened. When that didn't work we replaced the board and could see where the old board was damaged so we figured this was the solution. I purchased the lens cover from your on-line store. It came within the week. I was able to change the lens cover without any problems. My husband takes care of things like this for me at home, but this cover was for my mother's oven. I broke the one she had when I was cleaning her oven and changing the bulb. Read more

Turns out these wall ovens have a pretty common problem, the baking element relay on the back of the control board solder joint fails. We have had this happen on several units recently as we manage several apt complexes. So it was not the baking element at all, just faulty solder joints or something makes the baking element relay lose its solder connection. Read more

Had to pull double oven and range top out from wall which involved removing the upper kitchen cabinet. Took the sheet metal off the back and had the socket swapped out in a couple of minutes. My old oven works like a charm! Read more

Turned off power to oven. Removed the oven door. Unscrewed and removed the metal plate. Pulled element off wires and attached them to the new element. (This took needle nose pliers and many attempts. Needed dexterous fingers and good eyesight.) Put everything back. Read more

After 2 repair men, many parts replace it still didn't work, Did research on line and found out the thermal fuse would need to be replace.. Read more

When trouble shooting the problem I found that the light switch housing outer lip was broken allowing the switch to push through mounting surface behind the oven door. This is a slide in range so, I proceeded to pull the range away from the counter where I could unplug the power cord. Once the power was off like located the panel on the right upper side of the unit and removed the screws to allow access to the switch. Everything was straight forward and easy to repair, I had an appliance tech come out and troubleshoot the repair and watched what he did and asked questions. I then ordered the parts from here and did the repairs myself and saved on having the tech make another trip out. Read more

Changed the probe and door switch. Also pulled double oven out, replaced the convection motor. The unit was 30 years old. only pain was pulling out oven to get to back. watched video first, AppliancePartsPros were a great help. Read more
