This was more maintenance than a fix. I replaced the door gasket and temp sensor on my dryer. Thought what the heck and it might work more efficiently. This vane screw secures the internal drum baffle (vane) to the drum, keeping loads turning properly and preventing rattles or snags. Replace a missing or stripped screw to restore a tight, stable baffle during cycles.
Unscrewed the front lower panel ( 2 screws ). Disconnected the pump hose clamp and removed the hose. I loosened the lower back panel and pulled out the drained hose from the rear. Replaced with new hose put back clamp and panels. Very easy Read more

Fastening screw for securing components inside appliances. Replaces lost, stripped, or damaged screws during repairs or part installations.
Bought and installed new hinges. Repair took about an hour but I also cleaned all the glass inside and out on both oven doors. I had ordered extra screws as I read the old ones that hold the hinges were hard to get in as they were self taping but the screw labeled 5 next to the hinge were not the right ones. Replacement hinge for range oven doors. Sold individually; doors use two hinges. Replace if door won't stay closed, drops too fast, or is misaligned.
I had to take out the bottom drawer that holds pans. Disconnect the power and pull the oven out. Removed door, rear panel that held the screws for the side panel and lift up and out the side panel. After that it was straight forward as to replacing the hinge. Spent more time cleaning the florr where the oven was than installing the hinge. Read more

Frigidaire Gallery gas dryer from maybe 15 years ago. Based on the fact the the smell was only in the dryer, I concluded it must be the gas valve failing to completely seal when closed. After looking at the insides again, I suppose it is possible that it was a connection near the burner, but that stuff had remained untouched for 10 years so I still think I made a good assumption. Replace broken or pinched gas orifice tubes feeding your range burners. Common when lifting cooktop for cleaning or repairs. DIY install in 1-2 hours.
Relpaced both sets of gas lines/burners. They came with Natural gas orafaces preinstalled, so I backed them out with a wrench and reused my LP orafaces instead. Worked like a dream should. Orafaces were snug, taking out and putting in, but they are coated with some sort of pipe sealer. Maybe took 30 minutes to remove, swap orafaces, then replace the new parts. Works perfectly! Adjustable front leveling leg threads into the base corner of your range to raise or lower the unit. Replace if broken, cracked, or missing to level your range.
Could not level stove. Front leveling legs had pieces broken out where leg contacted floor. Back leveling legs were worn and did not stay at corrected height when stove returned to full weight on floor. Replaced both front and back leveling legs, and stove was able to be leveled. Also bought Touchup Paint for numerous nicks and scratches - color matched perfectly. Read more
