We bought a used fridge and forgot to get the hardware to mount the doors. Looked up the model on your website. Using the pictures I was able to order just the parts I needed and not to duplicate anything (or leave anything out!). The parts arrived and because I watched the "how to" video I knew to use the "trick" to hold the doors up while attaching the hardware. Had the doors mounted in less than 15 minutes!.. The R134 Drier is an OEM part for GE refrigerators. This component plays a critical role in the refrigeration system by removing moisture and contaminants from the refrigerant, ensuring efficient cooling and preventing damage to other parts of the system. It helps maintain the purity and effectiveness of the refrigerant as it cycles through the system.
You should replace the R134 drier if it becomes clogged or damaged. Common causes of a bad drier include wear and tear over time, exposure to moisture, or contamination from other failing components in the refrigeration system.
Symptoms of a bad R134 drier include:
This GE replacement part is also compatible with Hotpoint, RCA, and some Kenmore models.

Mullion air duct that directs airflow between refrigerator compartments. Replace if cracked, broken, or missing to restore proper air circulation.
Fridge warm but freezer cold? Frost buildup on evaporator coils means a failed defrost heater. This assembly prevents ice blockage, restoring airflow.
I unplugged the fridge and took all the food and shelving out of the freezer and then proceeded to take off the bottom sliding drawer rack on both sides off (4 Phillips head screws). Then took off the light bulb cover and then the light bulb. Then the back wall that covers the coils and tubes that the refrigerant runs through ( 2 screws with hex head). After sliding out the back wall I could see that the entire coil area was frosted and iced up. I took a blow dryer and melted all of it over... Read more

Fix frost buildup on evaporator coils or a freezer that keeps icing up. This defrost heater assembly melts accumulated ice to restore proper cooling.
After reviewing a number of testimonials and your videos from your APP.com site I determined my most likely problem was either the defrost heater, thermostat, timer or possibly all three. The real challenge now began. Getting to the specific parts with my specific model number was a real challenge. It was not as easy as removing the light guard and 5 screws since my model had two Track Cant Shelf vertical rails restricting the removal of the back panel. Also, these rails could not be removed... Changed the Frigidaire Icemaker Fill Tube Part # 241796405 (AP5671747) about a week ago and so far the Frigidaire Refrigerator seems to work fine. Did not use other ordered parts. Recently ice formed around internal evaporator fan and it started making loud noise when then fan and compressor, etc were running. A long winded history noted below if interested: I have been fighting with this Frigidaire Refrigerator for about 3 to 4 years, started out with the evaporator fan making noise when ice... Read more
