This mounting bracket kit secures your dishwasher to the countertop from above, preventing it from tipping forward when the door is opened. It replaces worn or missing brackets that allow the dishwasher to move or become unstable during operation.
I ordered new brackets to replace the broken ones. With the new brackets the instructions also showed me how I could also secure the dishwasher to the counter from each side. This ceramic receptacle provides the electrical connection point for a plug-in heating element on a range or cooktop. It mounts inside the cooktop surface and receives the element's terminal prongs to deliver power. Replace this part if the element fails to heat, heats intermittently, or if the receptacle shows signs of burning, arcing, or melting.
Took apart the burner unit and replaced burned spade. Did not need the receptacle, so returned it, but did have to order the contact and lead wire that burned out in it, and what really caused the whole problem. That will be covered in another repair note for that part. Read more
