The repair was easy and completed within 30 minutes. I also replaced the drum bearing pads. Because of the worn parts, the drum actually cut thru the existing light socket wires, so I probably could have just spliced them together to fix, but . Since I already purchased a new light socket assembly I just replaced it with the new one. Everything is installed and works great. Read more

Don't be fooled by the how to videos on the computer the prongs around the wires don't just slide off easy as they show you in the videos you may have to get extra small needle nose pliers to loosen them I am a 50ish female that is quite a handy women and it took time and patience only 1 wire out of many changing 2 parts came off easy Read more

This motor plate is the stamped metal mounting plate that secures the motor assembly and keeps it aligned for smooth operation. It restores proper motor positioning and reduces vibration-caused noise or wear. What it does:
Ordered a new backsplash and one new start control knob. The repair is straight forward, disconnect power, unscrew three Phillips screws that secure backsplash, remove switches from backsplash by pushing (any remaining tabs) and twisting counter clockwise. Note that the new control knobs are of better design and have a metal ring around the plastic that fits over the switch shaft. Gas dryer application
I disassembled the dryer to get to the inner rear so that I could disconnect the old cord and replace it with the new cord. The disassembly process was long about 40 mins (first timer) but not very difficult. The replacement process was extremely easy and the reassembly process took about 10 mins. Read more
