• Door won't close

Knowing that several things could be causing the noise, I ordered parts to cover all possibilities; once I got inside the dryer, I found the Idler Arm and Idler Pulley were worn and loose; replaced them and the Tumbler Bearings; the dryer now runs quiet again. Was going to replace the Drive Belt but believe it to be the wrong model, it was narrower and had 4 ribs whereas the old one seems to be OK and I believe has 5 ribs. The Drum Rollers and Shafts were OK Also replaced the Door Latch. Read more

Took a screw driver lifted the top, Unscrewed two screws holding the front on the inside of the dryer one to left and one to the right. Laid the front on the floor and removed to other screws holding the collector in place, popped out old one cleaned all the lint and dust and popped the new one in put the new seal in place and done ! First time DIY dryer repair. Videos very helpful! Remove front. Found glides worn thin, paint on drum removed where glides located. Drum, cage and motor turned easily - must be OK. At first i just bought the belt, started dryer and off came the belt, and yes it was in place,looking at the idler arm it had a lot off back and forth movement so i ordered the whole assembly but the spring which no one has.put it all together again but drum barely turned.. so back apart and belt was in place. took the idler spring out cut 4 loops off it re did the end so it would hook on idler arm.and that did the trick.runs like new. I knew i had a bad thermal fuse when it wouldn't start, so i took it apart and noticed the belt was getting ready to break. i went online to your website and was able to get all the parts i needed at a good price, they said shipping would only take 1.7 days which actually turned into 5 but it was easy to fix once i got the parts. highly recomend them Read more

After watching the repair video I opened up the dryer without any problems and found that the belt tension pully bearing failed and the mount arm had an excessive amount play in it. So armed with the part numbers I found here I went down to the local parts store and found that they did not stock the parts but could get them in a week.
