Replaced the Idler Pulley, which I think was the problem, but also replaced the bearing the tub rotates on and the belt while I was going to have the dryer apart anyway (and I used the high Temp Lubricant on the bearing.) Watching the repair video was helpful so I didn't run into any surprises. Read more

Gas dryer application
I disassembled the dryer to get to the inner rear so that I could disconnect the old cord and replace it with the new cord. The disassembly process was long about 40 mins (first timer) but not very difficult. The replacement process was extremely easy and the reassembly process took about 10 mins. Read more
The heating element fix is very easy - just remove two screws holding the element in place, gently pull the element to expose the connected wires, unplug the wires, plug in the new element, screw it back in, and voila....perfectly working oven! Over time the numbers on the dials had become rubbed off from cleaning, so it was difficult to know if we were selecting the right temp. The belts were very easy to change through the back of the machine. The heating element was a bit more involved. I basically had to disassemble the entire machine. The heating element is located on the front panel of the machine surrounding the door. You have to remove the rear panel, the top panel and loosen both side panels from the bottom pan, 6 screws. Then you slide the 2 sides and front panel (all still attached) a few inches forward so that you can access the screws that secure the side... Read more
