The upper door seal worked as intended, but the lower seal would not stay in place on the lower edge of the door during a wash. For Whirlpool made dishwashers. Assembly includes one spring, one retainer and one protective tip. Replace both springs at the same time to prevent uneven load.
I replaced both support springs. It took several tries to get the springs installed in the correct orientation, even though I had read--and thought I understood--the instructions. The retainer side pin must be fed through the slot with the adjustment notches, and then latch it in the proper notch.
