I ordered the Door Switch Kit, along with a few other items. However, the switch kit was all that was needed. Isimply followed the instructions that came with the kit. It was necessary to cut the wires which connected to the wire assembly in the door of the dishwasher. I then connected the pieces from the switch kit and then connected the end pieces to the door. I replaced both support springs. It took several tries to get the springs installed in the correct orientation, even though I had read--and thought I understood--the instructions. The retainer side pin must be fed through the slot with the adjustment notches, and then latch it in the proper notch.
