Electronic control assembly.
The part arrived earlier than stated. I rounded up the tools I needed - had to buy a star screwdriver to remove the panel. I watched a youtube tutorial on line before hand - very helpful. I followed the instructions step by step and had no problem removing and replacing the part. I am a 60 year old woman and I only mention that because normally I would have just called a repairman but I thought what the heck - I'll give it a try. this was very easy to do and saved me a repairman's charge. watch... Ordered a new spray tower but did not know where/how to attach it! Handyman came over and - TO MY SURPRISE - the tower attached to the dish basket in the bottom of the dishwasher! I should have just contacted Appliance Parts customer service and saved some time, money, and embarassment! Read more
Note: If no display on the control panel, check the thermal fuse on board first before ordering this part.
I did some research online and figured out that I needed to replace the control module. I tried the other possible solutions first but they did not work. I ordered the part and it arrived in a few days. I had to remove the back panel on the door of the dishwasher with a screwdriver and Torx bit to access the module.
