Fix water leaking from under your dishwasher with this pump volute. Directs water flow and prevents leaks with integrated seal. 20-minute repair.
I reviewed the schematic and saw the Volute Seal, and Impeller Seal were the two that were closest my source of water. After watching the video about changing the Impeller/seal I removed the motor, impeller, and volute; I found that the impeller seal was the faulty one in my case. Since I'd ordered the volute and impeller seal kits (as I wasn't sure which it was) I installed both while I had it apart. Runs great, no water - simple to do. The seal changes took about 20 minutes. The only... Read more

1. To fix the leaks from around the door, I replaced the upper and lower door seals. These were purchased in a separate transcation, so they are not the parts shown here. The upper door seal worked as intended, but the lower seal would not stay in place on the lower edge of the door during a wash. Therefore I cleaned the grease and detergent off the old seal, and installed using silicone sealer/adhesive. The plastic edge pieces for the lower seal were supplied with the kit, and they installed... Read more

Fix a dishwasher motor that hums or won't start. This run capacitor provides the phase shift needed for smooth motor operation. DIY repair in 30-45 min.
Figured it was either the capacitor and/or motor. Ordered both parts to be sure. tried changing the capacitor first; same problem. Replaced the motor (leaving the new capacitor in place). Unit now works fine. Overall an easy fix once you get the washer out and tip it on its side or top to get access to the motor area. Read more
This is a rubber gasket that seals around the door vent opening on a dishwasher, preventing steam and moisture from escaping into areas where they can cause damage. It fits between the vent assembly and the inner door panel. Replace this gasket if you notice moisture or steam leaking from around the vent area, water dripping down the front of the door, or if the gasket appears cracked, warped, or deteriorated.
We had a repair man come and inspect the unit (Independent). He said he would get the part and get back with us. Almost 8 weeks past, with many calls to the service for an update. So I ordered the part he said was bad, the control board. He did not check the fuse. I ordered the fuse, the new board worked. I removed the new and replaced the old control board. Everything is fine. Thus, I am returning the board. The suggestion to replace the fuse came from your on line tech. He saved me... Read more
This is the inner door panel that forms the interior-facing surface of the dishwasher door, often including an integrated bottom door seal. It provides structural support for the door and helps contain water and steam within the wash compartment. Replace this panel if it is cracked, warped, corroded, or if the attached door seal is deteriorated and causing leaks around the bottom of the door.
I unscrewed the fastening screws and was surprised to see that the front part of the door (external metal part) sort of slumped downward - I thought the front metal part of the door would be secured to the hinges but it is not. The inner white liner is actually the part that is secured to the hinges. Anyway, it all worked out fine, I just had to make sure that I noted what was connected to what and in what order things needed to be reassembled. Took longer than I anticipated and was more...
