This trash compactor is in our vacation home. We never use it and now we are selling the house. When I looked to replace it I was amazed at how expensive a new compactor would cost. I found the serial number on the current compact entered it and your web site came up. Your schematics were excellent and made the repair very easy! Read more

Felt seal that fits around your dishwasher's door vent to contain steam and moisture. Replace if you notice condensation or minor leaks during cycles.
Replaced the felt seal and door vent assembly by removing the inside panel of the door and cleaning off the old seal and replacing with the new one. The vent assembly simply snapped out and was easy to replace with the new one. No more leaks and Mother was happy. Removal of the screws required a torx screw driver and someone to hold the door open while the panel was replaced. Easy fix. Read more
Mounts on the pump outlet to secure and center the lower spray arm. Replace if cracked, broken, or worn to restore proper arm rotation and alignment.
I initially just removed the spray arm and top cover of pump assembly inside the bottom of the washer. Removed match sticks, broken glass bits, a small metal ball, broken plastic fork. Thought problem would be solved, but no,and was disappointed the sound remained after reassembly and a test wash cycle. That basically left the circulation pump. I decided to order the pump and motor assembly together because it was cheaper than the pump alone --and-- there was a chance of other debris in the... Read more

This is the front control panel for the appliance's console. It houses the user interface and protects the electronic controls, restoring a clean look and proper button/selector operation when the original panel is damaged or worn.
Based on feedback found on the internet, I knew it was either the control panel or control board. Ordered both and it turns out I only needed to replace the control panel. Really easy fix. Turned off the power, unscrewed the top 6 screws to open up the control panel. Removed the cover and disconnected the ribbon cable. Took off the latch assembly and control panel by gently pushing in the plastic tabs. Attached the new control panel by snapping everything back in place, reconnecting the... Read more

1. To fix the leaks from around the door, I replaced the upper and lower door seals. These were purchased in a separate transcation, so they are not the parts shown here. The upper door seal worked as intended, but the lower seal would not stay in place on the lower edge of the door during a wash. Therefore I cleaned the grease and detergent off the old seal, and installed using silicone sealer/adhesive. The plastic edge pieces for the lower seal were supplied with the kit, and they installed... Read more

This is a small sliding draw bar that connects to the upper detergent dispenser mechanism inside the dishwasher door. It helps actuate the dispenser lid so detergent is released at the correct point during the wash cycle. Replace this part if the detergent dispenser fails to open during a cycle or if the slide mechanism is cracked or broken.
Appeared to be two problems: the latch was worn and one of the pins that slid in a guide on the actuator located in the inner panel had broke off. Detergent lid spring and pin appeared to be OK but decided to replace since I was aready working on it. I ordered all the inner panel mechanism from the control arm to the latch actuator on the inner panel. The repair was successful as the detergent dispenser now opens during its cycle. Read more
