I called an appliance repair man to see if he would come and install the new handle but he said I would have to bring either the microwave or the door to him. With the microwave above the stove that wasn't going to happen so I fixed it myself and I am 75. The handle was a lot cheaper than buying a new microwave and getting someone to install it. I did have to use the old screws and new screws would have helped since I dropped one and it went under the stove. Read more
Follow the trio ubshooting flow chart inside of the microwave panel - and read articles on this website. Turned out to be a thermostat that had popped and gone bad. Replace the thermostat and it is good to go. Read more

Above the stove microwave took cover off microwave and checked all 4 thermals for continuity and they all passed put in new circuit board and the microwave was still dead went back to the thermals again and found cavity thermal had a blackened connector cut ends off wires and put together with wire nut and microwave worked put new connectors on wires and hooked up thermal tried microwave and it was dead thermal read continuity was good but thermal was bad replace with new thermal and wire... Asked a question on-line; received an answer in less than 15 minutes. Ordered replacement grill [w/o stainless steel front]. Price was the lowest I found. Received part in 2 days.
