This is the middle rotor assembly that distributes water to the middle spray arm area of the dishwasher. It spins during the wash cycle to direct pressurized water across dishes loaded in the upper rack. Replace this assembly if dishes on the upper rack are not getting clean, the rotor is cracked or warped, or it no longer spins freely.
This is an electric drain pump motor that removes used wash water from the dishwasher tub during the drain cycle. It pumps water out through the drain hose and into the household plumbing. Research indicated that it may be a moisture sensor failure or a leak. It ended up being a leak from the oil seal on the motor shaft. A small piece of plastic made it's way into the system. The hot water softened it enough that it wrapped around the motor shaft, re-hardened, then tore into the shaft seal. I fixed it by replacing the shaft seal, moisture sensor (corrodes when it gets wet), and replaced the sump seal since I had it disassembled. Read more

Here's what the problem was: Started the 'Normal' cycle... I closed the door... it calls for water, water fills, ECS sensor doesn't kick it to the next segment of the cycle (wash), so the water over-fills and reaches the over-fill sensor. So many other are replacing the plastic 'case-brake,' main board, and the ECS sensor. Replace your dishwasher's lower spray arm assembly if cracked, broken, or popping out of the holder. Includes nozzle and mounting hardware.
Parts arrived faster than promised. I unscrewed both holder screws. The new arm snapped right in the new holder. Then screwed the new arm holder assembly back in to the dishwasher.
