This is a rubber gasket that seals the connection between the water fill tube and the ice maker assembly inside the freezer compartment. It prevents water from leaking around the fill tube during the ice maker's fill cycle. This is a small white plastic plug that fills the hinge sleeve hole on a refrigerator or freezer door. It covers unused hinge mounting holes to provide a clean, finished appearance, especially after reversing the door swing. Took off the freezer door, took off the top hinge on the refrigerator door, replaced the handle, re-installed the top hinge and the freezer door.
