This orifice holder secures the gas orifice that controls fuel flow to your range's surface burner. It threads into the burner assembly and ensures proper gas flow for consistent flame control. Replace if the burner flame is uneven, too large or small, or the holder is damaged and doesn't secure the orifice properly.
Replaced all 4 Orifice holders with orifice for natural gas.The range was set up for Propane.once the top was removed it took about 45 min. to replace them and put the top back together. All I can say is that it is a good thing that ApplianceParts Pros had what I needed a local supplier told me that as per GE the parts was unavailable. the only other thing I had to switch over was the gas regulator.which is done by flipping over the brass fitting on the regulator. Cleaned/ soaked all burners in Ammonia and scraped off the remaining with a pumice stone. Oiled all screws. Replaced (4) ignitors or electrodes and module kit/ right front burner/ burner switch harness. Although this was the third order of switches from 3 different places including the local supplier due to the switches being manufactured upside down and lit on low on the first attempt.
