Read the reviews on your site and watched your video and decided it was worth a try to fix rather than to replace stove. Ordered the igniter for the oven then I also ordered the igniter for the broiler as it was sluggish as well. When you go, go all the way. Only problem I had was with the wire nuts, wish that something more substantial was provided. Got the stuff quickly, as promised and installed as per video and oven and broiler work like new. Thanks!!!!! Read more
By Frigidaire. 2+0 module type. Employs two spark electrodes for manual surface ignition of a four burner range top with flash tubes to front and rear burners. Very popular module used on many different brands and models. Check by appliance model number, if not sure.
Tappen Gas Stove circa 1981 (uses Fridgidaire parts). Unplugged stove from 110 wall outlet. Spark control module located on back side of stove about mid-way down on left side under a black cover that juts out. Black cover had 2 phillips head screws...removed the black cover and the spark module was right there...held on by 2 additional phillips screws. Sprark module purchased was identical to old one on the stove. Removed each wire, one at a time from the old spark module (slide off) and placed... Read more

Went on site, read the reviews to see how difficult it would be or if any problems. Then ordered it And received it the next day!!! The 2 screws were a bit hard to remove. Found the right screwdriver by using the 2 new screws I ordered. Once I got them out, lifted the old panel out. Pushed down on one corner so could get a grip on opposite corner to lift out. Once out, put in new one. Put in new screws and good to go! Will certainly NOT line with foil ever again!!! Read more
Made by Frigidaire. This is a dual oven valve for bake and broil.
From the Appliance Parts website I watched a 3 minute Youtube video. The video actually explained the process on another range but it was enough information for me to do the project myself. The part came 2nd day UPS and I installed it in under an hour. The only hitch was that I didn't see the note (maybe it wasn't there) that explained how the valve is set for Natural gas and that for LP gas I'd need to adjust the jet that goes into the burner tube. Maybe that was on the video. Read more

Before I ordered the part, I watched the youtube video on how to repair it. Thought I could do it so ordered the part. Followed the instructions on the video..did lose one connection when it dropped back into the oven but was able to take the back of the oven off easily to retrieve it. Finished installing. Easy Peasy! Thank you! Read more
This burner mounting screw fastens the surface burner assembly to its base on the cooktop, keeping it stable and properly aligned. Replace stripped, rusted, or missing screws to eliminate wobble and maintain even flame positioning.
The constant cooking and age of the appliance I repaired corroded the housing attachment that holds the igniter in place to the burner. Also the screws that hold the burner in place to the stove cover were also corroded which caused the burner itself to not stay in place but fall into the stove. By using a screw driver, lift up on the sides of the stove cover to pop the clips that hold it in place. Use a block of wood to hold up the stove cover. On the model I worked on, the igniter removes... Read more
