Initially I noticed the crusher drum was cracked and broken so I replaced the drum the retaining nut on the end of the auger and the circlip and washer. it worked fine for a time and then the drum began free wheeling. upon further inspection I discovered the retain nubs on the auger had worn down allowing the blade to slip down the auger body. so I replaced the auger, drum, drive blade, and drive cam. Everything pointed toward a "relay" in the manual and online. It turned out to be that 3 of the 3 heating elements had broken wires. This was easily tested by connecting an ohm meter to the output (at the element) and by touching the other end of the meter to each inputs of the element. Mine were grey wires and this heating element had three different coils. The good one showed 27 ohms and the bad two were open circuits. I ended up replacing the element to correct the issue.
