The Ice Bucket Housing is an OEM part for Frigidaire refrigerators. This component serves as the main enclosure for the ice bucket, supporting and protecting the ice maker's storage bin. It is designed to fit securely within the freezer compartment, helping to maintain the ice in a solid state by insulating it from varying freezer temperatures and ensuring that ice production is efficient and consistent.
Symptoms of a failing Ice Bucket Housing include:
Causes of a bad ice bucket housing often involve physical impacts from handling, thermal stress from fluctuating freezer temperatures, or degradation of materials over time, leading to brittleness and breakage.

I tried unplugging it for about an hour and plug it back in. The refrigerator would cut off and on for about 30 seconds, shut down and beep leaving me with the same code. I called an appliance repair technician who pulled the main board from the front bottom of the refrigerator. He believed it was a relay and or the... Read more
This replacement screw secures panels, brackets, and other components in your appliance. Replace missing or stripped hardware to restore a tight, rattle-free fit and keep assemblies aligned the way the manufacturer intended.
I had purchased a model refrigerator that did not come with the deli/meat pan, and I was told by the manufacturer's customer service department that my purchased model was not designed with the item. I made comparisons with other models that had the deli/meat pan and found that the shelving alignments were the same so I decided to improvise and install the deli/meat pan. The manufacturer's customer service department did assist me with obtaining the appropriate part numbers and I placed the... Read more
