The door was very simple to change out. I removed the 2 screws on top of the microwave and pulled the piece above the door down and out. There are tabs on the bottom of this piece that hold it in place along with the screws on top. After this was out of the way, changing the door was as simple as lifting up on the door and when the top peg was clear lean it out slightly to get the bottom peg out. Read more

Microwave won't turn on, made popping noise, or smells like burned electrical? The noise filter often fails when solder joints arc or short out.
When using the microwave it made a frying sound and completely stopped working. Took cover off (after unplugging) and found filter coil solder joints fried. Took a chance on replacing filter. Works perfectly now. Looking at the solder joints again, under magnification, discovered they were not done properly in the first place.
