Replaced with OEM replacement seal. Watched video on appliance parts pro which showed the proper process to remove the old seal and install a new seal. Surprisingly, it was very quick and only took about 15-20 minutes, including removing the freezer door and re-installing freezer door after seal installation. Unfortunately, a new seal did not cure my problem. 4 days later, I have ice building up again. I studied the new seal and noted there are small gaps at the corners of the freezer... Read more

This is a thermistor-style temperature sensor that monitors the evaporator coil temperature in a room air conditioner. Replaced thermistor and PC board . Not exactly sure which one fixed it but in guessing the pc board and the thermistor wasnt but $15.00 or something so we decided just to change it too .. And use a small piece of masking tape on small screws removi g the pc board and you wo t have to fight with it so much .
