I took 11 year old washer apart, by watching step by step instructional video on this site. Found the problem & order the part (inner tub,shaft & spider). It's a shame you can't just order the spider, because the stainless steel tub & shaft were still perfectly good. Apparently, this is the manufactures way of making money. Ordered a replacement timer for my 17 year old Gibson washer. It was delivered in 2 working days. I installed it myself at home, a home project which I am NOT hesitant to undertake.
