The Washer Drain Hose is an OEM replacement part for Frigidaire washing machines. It is a flexible, 7 ½ ft plastic hose that connects the washer tub to the household drainage system. The drain hose removes water from the washer at the end of each cycle. Symptoms of a faulty drain hose include:
Causes of a bad drain hose include kinks or bends that restrict water flow, cracks or holes from wear and tear, and blockages from accumulated debris. These issues can compromise the hose's ability to drain water properly.
This OEM replacement is also compatible with Electrolux, Gibson, Kelvinator, and Kenmore models.
Simply open the top of the washer by inserting a putty knife (watch YouTube ) and then the front panel by removing two bottom philips head screws on the front. The whole front panel comes right off. Using pliers the spring clams holding each hose, they come off and each hose is replaced. The drain one was only leaking but since it has open I changed both and even the drive belt. Whole job less than 1 hour. BTW parts arrived next day! Read more
This OEM replacement part is a drive motor for washers. The drive motor is the main engine that propels the washer tub to spin and perform its primary function of washing clothes. Over time, a drive motor can lose power or stop working altogether due to excessive wear and tear. If the washer is no longer spinning or not working as efficiently as it once did, the drive motor will need to be replaced. Thankfully, replacing this part is a relatively easy fix.To begin, start by unplugging the washer. Once unplugged, move the washer away from the wall to gain access to the back panel. Uninstall the back panel by removing the mounting screws. Once removed, gain access to the drive motor and remove the screws that attach it to the washer. After unthreading the screws, pull the drive motor out of its place and position the new motor in its original position. Fasten the mounting screws and make sure the motor is securely attached. This genuine replacement part is sold individually and is compatible with Frigidaire, Electrolux, Gibson, Kelvinator, Westinghouse, and Sears/Kenmore brand washers.

Loosened the old one counter-clockwise with a pair of pliers (I tried to to it with my hand but it was a bit too hard to do), then unscrewed it until it came off. Then I put the new one on clockwise. Super easy! Read more
The lady that talked to Fred gave him great help. She told him how to take the front off to replace the part. It only took a couple of minutes to do the repair. Even though I work for Sears parts dept. he didn't think I knew what I was doing.. Read more
Outer door panel that replaces a damaged or worn outer door surface, restoring the appliance's finished exterior and protecting inner door components. Ideal when the exterior is dented, scratched, or cosmetically damaged. What it does
Purchased the door panels (both sides) and replaced them both. Not sure if spending $150 on door parts for a 15 year old washer was a great investment, but the parts worked great. Took maybe five minutes to put it all back together. Read more
I took 11 year old washer apart, by watching step by step instructional video on this site. Found the problem & order the part (inner tub, shaft & spider). It's a shame you can't just order the spider, because the stainless steel tub & shaft were still perfectly good. Apparently, this is the manufactures way of making money. Anyway, I replaced part & washer is as good as new. The hardest part was having to have someone help lift the outer tub out & back in. Very happy, I did not have to buy a... Read more
Ordered a replacement timer for my 17 year old Gibson washer. It was delivered in 2 working days. I installed it myself at home, a home project which I am NOT hesitant to undertake. The job went very well. If the machine is back in service, and running better than ever over the last several years. Not only did the timer not get hung up anymore, but the whole cycle ran more quickly. Praise to the appliance parts pros for delivering the exact replacement item, and very quickly. Read more
