Ordered a new one from you, and then proceed to find how to remove the top. After I managed to lift up the top, the gas pipes bent upward also. Then I managed to see that the front panel covering the knobs came off. Then I unscrewed the clamp holding the valve down, and loosened the valve and the striker assembly into which the valve was inserted. There I hit a wall. I lifted up the door and removed it. Next, I laid out newspaper on the floor. I placed the door on the newspaper upside down. With my socket driver, I removed the bottom door trim. I then used a pocket knife to remove the remaining glass in the top groove. I then slid in the new glass and reinstalled the trim.
