Ordered the springs and shocks. Noticed that the washer had placement for 4 springs, but the factory only installs 2 (or they forgot to install the other two on my machine). Replaces a cracked, damaged, or chewed-up outer tub that no longer properly contains water or supports the inner basket during wash and spin cycles.
The main problem was fixing the inner tub. The "Spider Assembly" is attached with six screws, but the manufacture does not supply this as an individual part. This is good since the manufacture has a lifetime warranty in the inner tub. The manufacture supplied the inner tub. I purchased the outer front tub from Appliance Parts Pro. I ordered the dispenser and the distribution nozzle since the old one was in bad shape. I also replaced the boot since I had to take the entire machine apart and it is 20 years old. This repair went exactly as the video described. The video made it unbelievably easy. Took about 2.5 hours only because I scrubbed and cleaned all hoses and pars in and out. Prior to ordering parts I had pulled the pump strainer basket and cleaned it out. There was both soft and hard scale build up. The tub-to-pump hose was also pretty crusty/slimey. This is a leveling foot for a washing machine. A leveling foot is located at the bottom of the washing machine and can be adjusted so that the washing machine sits level on the floor, even if the floor itself is not level. There is one leveling foot included in this pack. A new leveling foot may be needed if the original is broken or stripped. If it won't hold a position, then the leveling foot will need to be replaced. These are very simple to replace, with the exception of needing to reach underneath the unit. These screw into the bottom of the washing machine. Never perform care and maintenance on an appliance that is powered on.This is a genuine Whirlpool part and is sourced directly from the manufacturer. It is sold individually.
