Was contemplating getting a new stove with convection oven because we can't live without a convection fan! Decided to look up parts for the oven and you guys prices for parts was outstanding! Opened oven door to the fully opened position. Pulled up the the lock located on both hinge supports and engaged it in the hook of the hinge levers. You may need to apply a little downward pressure on the door to pull the locks fully over the hooks. In addition, you may need to use a flat head screwdriver to "help" engage the hinge locks over the hook. Hold the door securely on both sides (not the door handle). Ordered the clock/timer board and overlay. Took the back off the stove, unplugged the bad unit and plugged in the new one. Put the back panel back on. Works like new. Read more

I tested the temp probe first and found resistance to be ok at 1088 ohms (spec is 1000 to 1100 ohms) so that pointed to the control board being faulty. The board was easy enough to replace and took about 15 minutes to do. Disconnect the plug or throw circuit breaker to off. Use gloves to guard against sharp metal edges.
