Replacement outer glass panel assembly for range oven doors. Installs on the front exterior of the door. Needed when original glass is cracked or shattered.
We found a video on how to change out the glass and looked fairly easy. My husband, being the skeptic that he is, wasn't on board as readily as I was but we tried it regardless. To his surprise in about 30 minutes we did it! So easy and a big thanks to Appliances Parts Pros for the part. We had the new part in 1 1/2 days...I was expecting it to be delivered in 5 days! We ordered a replacement part in black, since our our range was both black and stainless steel. It was a two person job since the handle was attached to another piece of the door and once removed you had to hold the rest of the oven door together or the glass would fall out. There are two screws to remove the handle assembly from the oven door and then two more screws to remove the handle from this grill part of the door.
