I originally thought it was just accumulated dirt and sludge in the sump and the lines. I cleaned all that and it was not the cause. Saw this video...took off the filter frame and the piston & nut assembly was definitely broke (cap deteriorated to nothing). Need pliers to break it free as in the video. I accidentally ripped the screen taking off the filter frame, and saw a hole from the heating rod on top of the inlet cover so I replaced them too. Very easy replacement project once it was... Purchased a new one. On putting it in place I found that it kept dropping of the track. The frond wheels were 1 cm. closer than those on the original tray. I bent the vertical rods, holding the wheels, outwards and that fixed the problem. One comment ;the new tray has a different layout which we have to get used to. Read more
