I originally thought it was just accumulated dirt and sludge in the sump and the lines. I cleaned all that and it was not the cause. Saw this video...took off the filter frame and the piston & nut assembly was definitely broke (cap deteriorated to nothing). Need pliers to break it free as in the video. I accidentally ripped the screen taking off the filter frame, and saw a hole from the heating rod on top of the inlet cover so I replaced them too. Very easy replacement project once it was... This plastic comb-shaped retainer holds the right-hand row of dish-holding tines in place on your dishwasher rack. It keeps the tines properly aligned and prevents them from falling out during wash cycles. Replace this part if tines are loose, falling out, or if the comb is cracked or broken.

This upper dish rack assembly includes the rack frame, rolling wheels, and adjustment mechanisms that allow it to slide in and out of your dishwasher. It holds cups, glasses, and smaller dishes in the top section of your dishwasher. Replace this part if the upper rack doesn't slide smoothly, has broken tines, or if the height adjustment mechanism is damaged.

Purchased a new one. On putting it in place I found that it kept dropping of the track. The frond wheels were 1 cm. closer than those on the original tray. I bent the vertical rods, holding the wheels, outwards and that fixed the problem. One comment ;the new tray has a different layout which we have to get used to. Read more
