Protective enclosure for the ice crusher mechanism in your refrigerator's dispenser. Replace if cracked, broken, or damaged from ice jams or wear.
I ordered a replacement auger from AppliancePartsPros.com. Upon receipt of the new auger, I watched the repair video and took the ice crusher apart. I found several other parts that needed to be replaced as well. Once All the parts were received, I again watched the video. The video was not specific enough to show how to reassemble the ice crusher blades and the two types of washers. I found another video on YouTube that walked me through specific details of assembly and everything went... Read more

This is the funnel guide and lever assembly located in the dispenser area of the refrigerator door. Replace this part if ice scatters or misses the glass during dispensing, the lever is cracked or broken, or the funnel no longer stays properly aligned.
I bought two parts. The dispenser housing shield and the funnel ice dispenser. I watched the short video on how to put it back together and I was done in just a matter of minutes. The video was such a big help. I forgot how the spring went on and was able to watch the video and put it back together in just a matter of minutes. I know I must have saved a couple of hundred dollars on a service call. Read more

Our refrigerator takes care of my wife and I, along with our children when they visit, and the grand kids. Over the years, it's seen its fair share of wear and tear. I've ordered parts for it from AppliancePartsPros.com for all of its repairs, and while GE/Frigidaire have been changing out a... Read more

After reading posts on the problem I concluded that the motor and solenoid was OK because I was getting water shooting out in the water line before the water entered the freezer door. At the bottom of the door there is a quick disconnect to check the water before it goes into the freezer door. So, I concentrated on looking at the mechanism that dispensed the water because I read a post that said that the water usually freezes right in the hose before it comes out of the dispenser. I used a... Read more

The fresh food door hinge lever assembly is a linkage mechanism at the fresh food section's door hinge that guides smooth door movement and helps maintain proper door alignment. It works in combination with the door cam to ensure the door closes evenly and seals tightly against the cabinet. Replace this part if the fresh food door sags, swings unevenly, fails to close on its own, or does not seal correctly.
