Microwave won't turn on or power is completely dead? A blown fuse often causes this. This microwave fuse protects circuits from power surges. DIY fix.
One of the three-door switches had failed. In my case, 00631512 or ref 25217585 on the left front of the unit. The green button no longer "clicked". When that switch fails, one of the ceramic fuses located under the top cover at the far back of the unit is blown. Used Volt-Ohm meter to determine which fuse. Happy to have also ordered a replacement door switch Support, just in case, as I was unable to remove the failed switch from the support without breaking a key brittle plastic tab.... Read more

Removed from cabinet. Confirmed electric was good at outlet. Removed top panels and saw that thermo sensor had “cooked” and took wires with it. Called several local repair services and all were booked for at least 2 weeks. Checked parts available at AppliancePartsPros, educated guess for parts and they were delivered in less than 72 hours. Based on the sound of arcing, one of the elements failed. The upper one tested fine; too bad, as that's the easy one to access. The lower element on my Bosch induction range is accessible from the back, but only after you pry and bend a vertical piece of sheet metal down to a 30-40 degree angle. Guessed it must be either a heat sensor or a lower element. Bosch wall oven with no easy access to the back of the stove. Had to remove the door (very Heavy) to more easily access the temperature sensor. I thought from a video that the sensor could be easily replaced without having to access the red of the stove - not true! The sensor wire was secured to other wires and a clip screwed into the sheet metal. I was able to remove all screws with a Torx head driver. Since I had to pull the unit out... Read more
