Microwave ovens have grille vents installed on them on the front part of the appliance. The purpose of the grille vent is to block off some of the components inside the microwave while still allowing air to flow. Air is circulated through the slats in the grille vent.A visual inspection will determine the condition of a microwave grille vent. If it's damaged or broken, replacing it is easy. A screwdriver is required. Unplug the device before starting. Unscrew the old grille vent if there is one in place. Line up the new grille vent and attach it securely. Wear gloves for protection. This grille vent is an authentic OEM replacement part. It is sourced directly from the manufacturer. The piece is compatible with several models of microwaves. It can be installed in General Electric, Hotpoint, and RCA brand devices. It is made of high-quality, durable plastic materials. The grille vent comes sourced directly from the manufacturer.
