A screwdriver is required. Unplug the device before starting. Unscrew the old grille vent if there is one in place. Line up the new grille vent and attach it securely. I opened the package, placed the new grille directly on the microwave (top section tucks under the metal lip of microwave), made sure the bottom section snapped into place, then inserted and screwed in the screws to fasten the grille in place. Read more
