The balance ring clip fell between the drum and the plastic tub. I watched the step by step video, went out and bought a tub ring tool to remove the tub ring nut and did not find the clip. I disassembled the machine further reviewing the video again. In the end the machine must have been apart before and there were 3 clips missing total.
