Watched AppliancePartsPros.com instruction video.
Ordered new oven bake element, which arrived a couple days later.
Removed old oven bake elelment.
Installed new oven bake element.
I am very appreciative of the instructional video. It's a very handy way for me to figure out if it's a do-it-yourself repair or not. In this case, another key thing it pointed out was the fact that the two wires that attach to the oven bake element have a tendency to slip back into the insulation behind the...

Oven would not come to full temperature; unreliable heating; heating elements apparently ok. Stewart W. • Silver Spring , MD • May 07, 2022
My mother's GE range was not coming up to full heat (very far from it), and I was hearing a lot of relay-clicking coming from the control board. The heating elements seemed good. I suspected the control board was faulty, but there was a chance that it might be the (*much* less expensive) temperature sensor, so I ordered both from AppliancePartsPros.com (which got the parts to me very fast) so I could try the T-sensor first. After removing the doors and the back panel of the oven, and taking out...

Some friends gave us their glass top stove when they purchased a new one the range had a broken handle and needed a new door gasket to prevent oven heat leakage plus a good cleaning Charles M. • Marysville , OH • January 26, 2016
I removed the door, mostly so we could really clean the all the nooks and cranny's of the stove, and make the handle and gasket replacement easier. Attaching the new handle was not difficult, but did require some minor door dis-assembly. Removing the old gasket and putting on the new gasket was a breeze. The hardest part of the job was putting the door back onto the stove, but we got it done and the stove looks and works great.

Two burnt/damaged terminal blocks Alex B. • Silver Spring , MD • January 15, 2017
I lifted the front hood and removed the back control panel cover. I then replaced two terminal blocks with the new kits. Perfect match except wires were a bit long. So I rolled them up neatly and tucked them away at the control center. Used electrical tape to band both sets of wire and protect them from the metal edges between the range and control area. I replaced the control cover and installed two new burners. Perfect installation.

So, in the process of a kitchen remodel my GC managed to lose *both* of the rear plastic supports for my GE stove! The drawer was totally unsupported without the brackets. I managed to find them on your site and see that they were a new and better design (rear mount with screw vs side mount and no firm mounting). The install was a snap and the brackets work excellent. I wish I knew that there was a new design years ago or I would have bought them much sooner! Thanks!!
