The oven door was open and the wife fell onto the door. After that, the door would not close all the way and hung lower than it should. I could not tell if it was the hinge or hinge receiver that was bent so I ordered both. When the parts arrived I removed the door by unlatching the hinge and lifting it off the range. the door has 3 screws on the bottom and two at the top. Once the door was separated each hinge has three screws to remove and replace the hinge. Reassembled the door, reinstalled... Read more

Tested the power to the unit by turning on the cooktop portion and saw that I had power to all of the burners. Turned the selector knob to broil and saw that the top element would heat up. I then turned off the breaker to the unit. I then decided to take out the baking element to do a continuity test. When I touched it, a 1.5 inch section fell out. Since that concluded my continuity test, I assumed I needed a baking element. After receiving the parts the NEXT DAY (amazingly great service... Read more

My son-in-law helped me. He pulled the liner open enough that he could see he just had to tighten up the existing screw on the door handle.. For the liner, we put a new screw in each side and tighted it up. At first we were afraid it was in the hole the screw went into but finally got it to screw in tightly. Back in business!!! Read more

When my customer frantically called me after a guest shattered the oven door inner glass, I knew I could count on Appliance Parts Pros. The door glass arrived a day earlier than planned (thanks!). The job took slightly longer than I expected only because of the amount of broken glass I had to clean up. The new glass was an exact fit and my customer's AirBnB property was back in use the next day. I only needed a T-17 Torx head screw driver and a 1/4” nut driver for tools. Read more

I did some research on my own and then spoke with the “Pros” at Appliance Parts Pros. Both confirmed the main board needed to be changed. The other less likely item was the oven sensor. I changed the sensor first as it was inexpensive. The error codes continued. Subsequently, I then changed the main board which was slightly difficult. When changing 2 screws hold the board in place on each front corner only. Also suggest you take a picture of wiring. I replaced wiring in place from old board to... Read more
