As the micro switches and door latch mechanisms show signs of wear ( not fully engaging because of that) not knowing exactly which one caused malfunction I replaced all of them. A very tight working area made this job a slow one. Once replaced, I was back to heating up lunch and coffee. Read more

Thank you for sending the correct part. I had to purchase a set of tamper resistant torx wrenches from Home Depot for $10. I removed the cover off of the oven and there was the defective part. I replaced it in about 5 minutes, reassembled and the oven is good to go. Thank you so much. You saved me the cost of a new microwave. The door assembly from AppliancePartsPros was a perfect fit. Only snag to the project was getting the correct driver to remove the tamper-resistant star-head screws from the back of the microwave. Lowe's didn't carry a screwdriver with the proper head, but had some 1/4" drive ratchet attachments with the correct head. Less than 15 minutes from start to completion.
