I replaced it with the control panel assembly. It was fairly easy to get to with a screw driver and making sure you got all the screws. There are 2 on each side (sometimes you need to pull the oven out a few inches to get at one or both of these). For future reference, take pictures before taking out / off anything and turn off the breaker to the oven as you will be working close to the circuit board with electricity still flowing otherwise (I got a small shock). Purchased parts. They came fast. Just exchanged old for new. The grill isn't a perfect Fit only because the new plug in burner it sits on is slightly bent. Otherwise, it looks great. Improved the look of my stove greatly. Almost looks like new again. Read more

I ordered the element and grill kit for the Jenn-Air downdraft grill. When the new parts arrived it appeared to be different with only three pins not four like the old one. After I looked more closely at the old part I discovered that the ceramic part came off and it had the 4th pin in the ceramic block. I replaced the downdraft fan and fan motor of my 25 year old JennAire C301 cooktop. The issue was getting the fan/motor assembly out in such a tight place. I had to first remove the fan cover, cut the wires, then the assembly came out. Putting back wasn't as tough although getting the cover back on (over the motor) was a bit of a strain. Wired it back, turned it on, and was thrilled. Now I'll replace the knobs and burners and we're back in business. Read more
