Ordered new glass cook top for GE profile 36" range top. Broke two screws off removing one of the burners. Tried drilling broken 6-32 screws out of cast aluminum gas manifold and broke the tap off inside it so I had to order a new $28 manifold. Total cost with $303 for the glass was $331 Replacement range would have been over $1200. I also replaced all (10) 6-32x1" torx screws with stainless steel versions from McMaster-Carr and installed with Permatex anti seize in case I ever had to open it...
