Sealed burner assembly that supplies a protected gas flame for a gas range, restoring consistent heat and helping keep spills and debris out of the burner box. Designed as a direct-replacement assembly for affected burners. What it does
Flip the burner facing down. Take out the seven screws that hold together the housing and the slip off the housing. Disconnect the igniter leads. Turn the burner clock wise from the opposite side your likely working. You'll get a better purchase there. Take the screws out of the old igniter, as they don't come in with the new igniter. Install the new igniter on to the new burner. Make sure that the igniter is poking all the way out of the whole in the burner. I found that the screws did... Read more
Burner won't light or flame sputters? This gas valve controls flow to restore reliable ignition. Moderate DIY repair—requires manifold access.
Ordered 2 control valves for the left burners. Works I also needed a Teflon igniter control block that sits on the control valve. Got an igniterplug assembly instead. Read more

If your gas burner won't ignite or flame height is inconsistent, the burner valve likely needs replacement. Moderate DIY repair requiring panel removal.
This was my first time working on any stove or stove top....the hard part was getting to the gas valves for each burner...found videos online which gave some idea of replacing them...just used common sense in which screws to remove to take the top and subpanels off.....had to go and purchase the correct socket size to remove the tiny screws....using an adjustable wrench was clunky....vice grips helped some......once I was able to remove one gas valve it was clear on removing the spark...
