This control knob fits onto the burner valve stem on the front panel of the range and is used to adjust the flame or heat level of a surface burner. It has a D-shaped shaft opening that engages with the valve stem for precise control. Replace this knob if it is cracked, melted, or if the shaft opening is worn out, causing the knob to slip and not properly control the burner.
With Appliance Parts Pro's repair videos and helpful telephone sales representatives, I felt confident in replacing by DIY the electronic control panel on our eight year old Jenn Air gas range. The part cost just under $200. I saved over $160! The replacement part arrived in two days and I replaced it in less than two hours. Thank you! Background - Initially, I called a franchise appliance repair service. Technician diagnosed that replacing the control panel ($200) would "likely" solve... Read more

Ordered Bake Element, Y04100019 (Whirlpool AP4283614) to replace a broken bake element on my 30-year old Jenn-Air Model S125 Downdraft Slide-in electric range. Received the element very quickly but it had been damaged in shipping. Called AppliancePartsPros to report this and they quickly shipped another element - very easy process. To install the element, I turned off the power to the range, put on rubber gloves (just in case) and removed the two sheet metal crews at the rear of the oven -... Read more

Fastening screw for securing components inside appliances. Replaces lost, stripped, or damaged screws during repairs or part installations.
Bought and installed new hinges. Repair took about an hour but I also cleaned all the glass inside and out on both oven doors. I had ordered extra screws as I read the old ones that hold the hinges were hard to get in as they were self taping but the screw labeled 5 next to the hinge were not the right ones. All old screws worked fine. You just need to put a little power to them to get them started. Easy repair. Read more
This small surface burner assembly replaces a worn or damaged top burner on your gas range or cooktop, restoring quick ignition and an even flame so the small burner heats predictably for simmering and everyday cooking.
You will need a special "star" socket driver for this process. You can find it at any auto parts retailer, I got mine at the AutoZone. First unscrew the 2 "star" screws and unplug the igniter lead from the old burner then plug the igniter lead into the new burner igniter and re-screw the new burner back on the range. It was a very easy swap out process. In the process, I broke one of the screw... this is the hard part of all trying to remove the broken screw. Remember to soak the screws... Read more

A shoulder screw that secures appliance components and provides a precise pivot or spacer point. Replaces a missing or worn screw to restore alignment, reduce rattling, and keep panels and assemblies securely in place. What it does:
I had to remove the oven door, which I learned is made to come off without tools. Then took out the bottom by removing two screws and lifting. Removed the screws attaching the igniter, pulled wires thru back until I could get the connector and disconnect. When the new igniter arrived, I had to change the connector. I cut the one off the old one, and spliced to the new one using solder and shrink tubing. Just reverse the procedure to install. I replaced the screws with new ones. Read more
