The F9 error code is supposed to indicate that the door lock mechanism has failed. My oven would give the F9 code and turn off during normal baking at 400 F after about 30-40 minutes. Unscrewed front control panel on oven, lifted it and pulled it out from the wiring/control area without disconnecting anything. Disconnected the Halogen Lamp Assembly. Measured 120V at the mating supply connector. Deduced the Halogen Lamp Assembly was therefore bad since it was getting power but wasn't lighting a lamp. I ordered a replacement panel assuming that this was the cause of my problem based on the definition od the F7 message.
