The F9 error code is supposed to indicate that the door lock mechanism has failed. My oven would give the F9 code and turn off during normal baking at 400 F after about 30-40 minutes. Unscrewed front control panel on oven, lifted it and pulled it out from the wiring/control area without disconnecting anything. Disconnected the Halogen Lamp Assembly. Measured 120V at the mating supply connector. Deduced the Halogen Lamp Assembly was therefore bad since it was getting power but wasn't lighting a lamp. Unscrewed the Halogen Lamp Assembly inside the oven and pulled it down a little. Fed the connector of the Halogen Lamp Assembly back into the oven compartment being careful... Read more
