I always save original books and assembly sheets for appliances. That helped a lot ! The assembly sheets showed how the ovens went in, how they were attached to the cabinet and what to avoid so I didn’t bend trim piece. NOTICE: Part has been redesigned. Wire terminals are no longer straight off the the back they are from the side. Depending on your model you may have to make changes to make it fit.
Replaced oven lamp holder. Easy job. Took 10 minutes. Shut breaker to stove off. Removed 2 screws. Removed old lamp holder. I thought it would be difficult but after your video it was a snap to add the Gasket. Biggest problem finding how to remove the door. It was really easy after watching the video. Read more
I thought the expensive controller was overheating because the fan wasn't activating. So I replaced this fan switch. The old one bench tested the same as the new one using a heat gun. The $200 controller is on its way. This part should be IDed as the Fan Limit Switch. It's distinguishable from the other switch because the mounting tabs are parallel with the electrical blades. Changed out the oven gasket. It was very easy, but finding the correct gasket was hard. The customer service rep at Appliance pros helped me find the correct piece, refunded me for the wrong gasket I ordered earlier and answered a lot of questions about what else may be wrong if the gasket didn't work.
