I thought the expensive controller was overheating because the fan wasn't activating. So I replaced this fan switch. The old one bench tested the same as the new one using a heat gun. The $200 controller is on its way. This part should be IDed as the Fan Limit Switch. It's distinguishable from the other switch because the mounting tabs are parallel with the electrical blades.
